The music of Synapse Archives (Zé Borges) consists of the construction of an ethereal space that articulates and dialogues with the physical buildings where it happens, in a reverberant way, integrating memories invoked through sound objects, of an intertextual and concrete nature or distantly abstract.
BIO | Synapse Archives (Zé Borges), born in June 1998, is an experimental sound artist from Viseu, with a degree in Electronic Music and Music Production from ESART-IPCB and currently attending a Masters in Multimedia at FEUP-U.Porto. Regardless of academic paths related to media art and sound art, the music of Synapse Archives comes from a self-taught learning and a continuous extension of its primary interests in improvisation and timbral exploration.
