Spoken-word performance conducted / mediated by NI (Character created by me for the performance “De Saco cheio”, an element of evaluation of my last year of my degree in Fine Arts).
Born of anguish and the desire to send everything to shit! Daughter of the less sympathetic voices that cohabit in her head and the desire to “empty the bag” again.
NI during the various lockdowns “suckled” the insecurities that live inside her, which resulted in a less fair look at everything that is hers (body and mind that are no longer healthy).
As Louise Bourgeois used to say Art is the Guarantee of sanity and so it was to keep the balance during all this madness, even if it is external, it still goes to the inner corners of our most fragile and vulnerable person.
These characters of mine are the mirror of my emotions, they are born from my broken rib and seek escape in creation.
