In the distant world that lived in 1994, Dr. Frankenstein appeared, just as in the book in which the infamous doctor creates a monster, this project too has had its life in constant mutation, cursed and misunderstood.
Of several members and bionic prostheses that have been adjusted and discarded over time, Dr. Frankenstein has also had several lives, and several faces, from presentations in duo, to a big band of rock n roll with 7 elements and metal section, from classic surfing, to Punk, Lounge, Exotics, Garage Rock, 70s movie soundtracks, everything can exist in this multi-faceted monster.
The brain has been maintained since the beginning, on André Joaquim’s guitar, and since 2008 on Duarte Vicente’s rhythmic backbone. In this little brave new world we arrived in 2021, the monster is preparing a new record, what face will it have? We don’t know yet, but the first performance will be in Viseu, on the 4th of July 2021.
